Jessica C. Covington

SUMMARY

Jessica Covington is an attorney in the firm’s Pasadena office. Ms. Covington’s practice primarily focuses on public entity liability, general business litigation, and insurance coverage litigation.

Prior to joining Collins + Collins, Ms. Covington represented plaintiffs in personal injury and wrongful death matters. This gives her an advantage when counseling and strategizing with her current government entity and insurance carrier clients, as she is very familiar with how plaintiff’s counsel will evaluate and litigate each claim. She also has extensive experience litigating a large array of business matters including trademark, design patent, trade dress, copyright, right of publicity, and breach of contract disputes.

Ms. Covington received her Juris Doctorate from Pepperdine University School of Law (now Pepperdine Caruso School of Law) in 2014. While in law school, she was a Diversity Scholarship recipient, a Note and Comment Editor for the Journal of Business, Entrepreneurship and the Law, and President of the Pepperdine Student Bar Association. Ms. Covington received a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Communication Studies from the University of Michigan in 2010.
