Thad M. Scroggins

SUMMARY

Mr. Scroggins is a trial attorney at the firm’s Inland Empire office. His practice includes both litigation and transactional matters as he has represented clients in both federal and state court as well as arbitrations.  Mr. Scroggin’s practice focuses on general business litigation, professional liability, contract disputes, negligence and other claims. He also frequently assists clients with issues related to copyrights and trademark issues, including registration and defense/prosecution of infringement claims. On the transactional side, Mr. Scroggins assists clients with corporate formation, structuring, management, and mergers and acquisitions. He helps clients with contract negotiation, employment issues, use of protected intellectual property, and entertainment production.

 

Prior to his legal career in the private sector, Mr. Scroggins served in the United States Marine Corps in the Headquarters Company as the 1/1 Battalion Legal Chief. During his time running the 1 /1 Legal Shop, the unit earned the coveted title of “Best Legal Shop in the Regiment.” 

 

Mr. Scroggins received his Bachelor of Arts in History and Art from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas. He obtained his Juris Doctor from Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, California. Mr. Scroggins is admitted to the State Bar in California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
